Martin Havlat is joining the Minnesota Wild now. It is reported that Havlat and the team have agreed to a six-year deal."We are excited to add the speed and scoring of Martin Havlat to our lineup," Fletcher said. "He is a terrific two-way player."
In 81 games with the Blackhawks this season, Havlat scored 29 goals and 48 assists for 77 points. He was originally selected by the Ottawa Senators in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He had 169 goals and 227 assists for 396 points in 470 career regular-season games with the Senators and Blackhawks. He spent the last three seasons with BlackHawks, and played just 91 games in his first two seasons in Chicago after joining the Blackhawks in 2006.
